Dundalk Fri, 15th Nov, 2024 The Real Screamer I think that is Chris' first winner for me - he hasn't ridden too much for me as he is always booked and he's too good to ride for me! . They went a savage pace and he picked it up and did it well. . We thought he was well handicapped on his homework, but he has been really disappointing. . He ran well in Navan actually and just maybe did too much on possibly too stiff a track. Then we thought on Navan to drop him back to a mile and that didn't work either. . Basically, we were going to give up. I said I thought he would like the surface and we took a chance and it really worked. |
Limerick Sun, 20th Oct, 2024 The Big Chap It was a suitable race being for second-season novices and the ground was key,. We had aimed for a race at Killarney this summer but it turned up soft, although he still ran well. That is his trip as well. We'll go to the November meeting in Cheltenham with him for a 0-145 which I think he'll get into and I would also love to go to Aintree with him too. |
