He's a very tough horse. It was a good aggressive ride from Dylan and he stayed on to the line well,. I'm delighted with him, he's as tough as nails. He's obviously better at a mile but it's a great pot to win and fair play to Goffs.  . It's a fantastic incentive for people to buy horses next week and we'll hopefully be going back to try and find one for next year. . He had stakes form, went and led all the way and he's a good horse. . He's a horse that should go ten furlongs next year, he has a bit of stamina in his pedigree as it's an Aga Khan family. . We'll have a look at one of those Saint-Cloud races and he's in the Futurity Trophy as well, which we'll have a look at too. The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages of this race involving Antelope Canyon, ridden by W.M. Lordan, placed second, and Apples And Bananas, ridden by D. McMonagle, placed first, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. W.M. Lordan stated that his mount was rolling around, he felt nothing at the time and it didn't affect his finishing position. D

McMonagle stated that his mount shifted right momentarily but he corrected him immediately and made no contact with Antelope Canyon. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were of the opinion that while Apples And Bananas had caused slight intimidation to Antelope Canyon, he did not improve his finishing position as a result of this so they made no alteration to the Judge’s placings and took no further action

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Garden Of Eden, trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be lame on its left fore and to have lost a shoe.

For two years old only which had been catalogued in the 2023 Goffs Orby Sale (Book 1 or Book 2) and have been declared by Goffs Bloodstock Sales Ltd. as being eligible to enter and run in accordance with the relevant Conditions of Sale. Horses which do not have a registered name and are not Returned In Training with a Licensed Trainer by Wednesday, 24th July, 2024 will be automatically struck out of this race. (Please note for Irish and British bred horses, trained in Ireland, an acceptable naming application should be made to HRI by Thursday, 18th July, 2024 at the very latest. For all other foreign bred horses, trained in Ireland, naming applications will take longer to process)
