Curragh Mon, 6th May, 2024 Asian Daze That’s a pleasant surprise. She was sold to America earlier in the year and that didn’t happen. I think Rory’s 10lb was a big help, she’s not a big filly. I thought 85 was a high mark for her but the 10lb helped. He rode her the other morning and was very happy with her. He’s working very hard so it’s good for him to get down to 7lb now which should get him a few more opportunities. She will probably come back here Guineas weekend for a fillies handicap. She’s so genuine that I think ground doesn’t matter to her. She’s not big but she has a big heart and tries really hard. |
Gowran Park Tue, 23rd Apr, 2024 Cheeky Wink She's always been a very nice filly and had a good run last year. She's big and she came back in good shape. Shane Kelly rides her at home and he's been raving about her for the last couple of weeks. It was just a matter of picking the right race and this looked like a nice race for her, an auction maiden. Ben said there will be no problem dropping her back to a mile. I think she's probably a mile or nine furlong filly. We're very happy with her. We'll speak to everyone at home and see but she could be a Stakes filly. |
