Navan Sun, 17th Nov, 2024  Stuzzikini Brilliant! I tipped him up yesterday on television and I said he had a chance. I just thought he was a horse that leaves a bit for himself, he is a bit of a monkey. I thought he could have a couple of pounds up his sleeve. Gavin gave him a great ride. Danny was unfortunate, he got a fall. In fairness to him (Brouder), I’d say he has won on most of the horses he rides, so we will just keep him riding in the big chases!. To win seven Troytowns is unbelievable.

Cork Sun, 3rd Nov, 2024  Gorgeous Tom obviously he had a mishap (when falling) in Tipperary which was frustrating but he was back on track there and Darragh was brilliant on him. He came well recommended and while he wasn't a bad hurdler, we hoped he'd step forward for a fence. There is the Drinmore (novice Grade 1 at Fairyhouse, early December) for him so we'll see and enjoy today.

Clonmel Thu, 24th Oct, 2024  Win Some Lose Some Mark gave him a great ride, was happy with him, and the horse is still learning a bit although he got going in time. Nothing came to light after his run in Listowel so we were drawing a line through it and he has bounced back today, so we're delighted. He is out of a daughter of Like A Butterfly, which has been a great family for us.

Limerick Sun, 20th Oct, 2024  Ballybrittas These are very famous colours and I'm delighted to have Lar on board. He came to me last year looking for a nice winter horse so we bought this horse in Doncaster. I don't think he is a superstar but I hope he will be better over a fence. . We were opportunistic today as the race cut up significantly and we'll look for a handicap now, as I don't think he is up to novice company.

Gowran Park Fri, 4th Oct, 2024  In For The Night That was very welcome,. He was unlucky in Galway, he got hobbled over at the castle here. There was nowhere to go as they were six abreast. He finished like a rocket. He's still green but has the makings of a nice one. He wants goodish ground, but wouldn't want it any quicker than that either. They are taking the top off it. We'll see what the handicapper does now and see where we're going.

Listowel Sat, 28th Sep, 2024  Champella I thought she got a great ride and Tom is riding with lots of confidence,. The plan was to ride her third, fourth or fifth but he popped off and, next thing, was in front but he rode her with loads of confidence and she jumped great. She was as happy as Larry throughout the race and has now won in Galway and Listowel, so you couldn't ask for better. She has done no wrong, has won five races and will probably be covered in the spring time. We'll space out her runs, keep going until the spring and her owners would love to get black type with her.

Wexford Thu, 25th Jul, 2024  Lieber Nicc Sadly the Schuster’s aren’t here today but part of the crew are. It’s great that he has won, he deserved to win one and hopefully he’ll progress now. I think the better ground helped him, he has got a bit of pace and is a nice horse. We have no major plan for him, but I’d say Listowel could be on the cards. The Schuster’s have a big connection with Listowel, so I’d say if there is something suitable there, that’s where he’ll go. We’d like to find something in between as well.

Sligo Sun, 7th Jul, 2024  Gone For Tea On her last two runs she was a bit keen. Getting her switched off was a big help and she finished off very well. She's a handy little filly and can sometimes get a little bit intimidated if there is anything going on ahead of her, but she was good today and I like the way she picked up from the back of the last. It probably wasn't the strongest of races but if she got a couple of pounds, hopefully she'd get into the mares' handicap hurdle at Galway and that's where we'd like to go with her. We love going to Galway and myself and my wife Ber stay down for the week and enjoy it.
