The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Ms. Avena O'Keeffe, that Mr C. Cullinan, rider of Bitofalright, had failed to weigh in having finished sixth. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he was unaware that he was required to weigh in having finished sixth. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards disqualified Bitofalright in accordance with the provisions of Rule 230 (ii). The Stewards also found Mr C. Cullinan to be in breach of Rule 227 (i) and cautioned him having taken his previous record into consideration
Furthermore they also reminded him to familiarise himself with the rules relevant to weighing in procedures.
