The ground had dried again on his last two runs, and when things are happening too quick for him he is too old to keep going. But when it's that bit softer, things are slowed down, he loves it and is able to operate better in it. The Stewards requested a report from Conor O'Dwyer, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Prosperity Square, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that his charge disappointed on his last two starts when unable to go the pace on good ground. Returning to a softer surface, his charge travelled better and was able to stay in contention. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.
