We bought him for €50,000 and knew the ability was there, so it was just a matter of getting it out of him. we just said we'd fill him with confidence today, ride him for luck and it was just about getting his confidence back. Thankfully it worked out.

we had the dam (Koroleva) whom I won a bumper on, but Jamie Codd beat me by a head on her at Killarney (in 2017) and I lost the championship by one that year. I dropped my stick on her as well, so that's what I remember her for!. We leased her from Jock O'Connor and Pat Hayes, from Kerry, and this filly is also leased from them. She is by Jukebox Jury and we have an army of them at home. They are not big but they go. I'd imagine we will try and get black type somewhere, at maybe Gowran or Cheltenham. She is not a winter mare, is small and nice ground will be the key to her.
