McCreery's owners enjoy their Gowran win
I told the owner not to bother coming down so I suppose he's fit to kill me!
Lyons and Keane win Claimer with unsold Zalzar
I was hoping that if she produced the same sort of run as she did in Bellewstown that she'd do that. I thought it looked a stronger race on paper but maybe not. She's good and tough and genuine. If somebody wants her she'll be a fun horse for Dundalk and if not sure we'll do more of the same.
Apprentice Coen registers third winner in as many days
I thought she'd run well today but I was a little surprised as I thought she might need it a little bit. He said she fought on well and she'll win another one or two I'd say; she's a nice filly. We thought she was nice early on, just my horses went a bit off but now they are coming back a bit. We decided to ride her prominently rather than holding her up and it worked out great for us.
Pushaq scores for McCann & Downey
we always thought a lot of him and he finally did it on grass for us, and in Ireland! . He's always worked well enough to produce a performance like that. I told Robbie to keep it simple, break, get to the front as your drawn well and he should do the rest himself. He loves being out in front and his ears were pricked turning in; I knew he was a winner turning in. Robbie gave him a very good ride. He's riding out one day a week for us and it's great to give young lads like that an opportunity. He's probably an all-weather horse but at the same time he turned his form around when I gave him a run over hurdles. I didn't think he stayed the two miles and that's the reason we brought him back to the mile and seven furlongs. He might get another spin over hurdles and if not he'll go to Dundalk. He has plenty of speed and maybe we should keep him on the level, it's less trouble.

Weld's winner books American passage
he's been very consistent and he'll be going to America later in the year, as his owner (Colvin Ryan) is American, and the plan is for him to run over jumps there. We'll look at giving him another run here first and I'll look at a handicap with him. He deserved it as he's tough and consistent. He ran a good race in Galway when he was third and I thought he'd take a bit of beating here today. He did it nicely and I'm delighted as it's my first winner for the owner.
