Yale made to work for maiden success
He's a grand big horse. He's had a few problems but he has plenty of ability when he gets it together,. I didn't think he was going to draw there for a while but in the last furlong he got the hang of it and kept going. He's a big raw horse, still a bit unorganised, and there's plenty of improvement in him, I think. I travelled quite well and just when I asked him to quicken up he just took a while to get himself going. I thought over six the last day at Navan that he wanted five but there is probably a big difference between soft ground at Navan and five furlongs around here.

I sat on him for the first time last week, I didn't know a lot about him, and he gave me a beautiful feel there today, I really liked him,. We were going slow and I didn't think there was any point tucking in behind one just for the sake of one horse and a bit of cover. He travelled really smooth the whole way but he's still raw. He changed his legs behind before he does in front, which is not ideal, but I'm sure once he learns he'll be a lot better. You can never tell (how good they will be). Anyone that tells you that they know straight away is a complete liar. He gave me a really nice feel today, he's by Galileo so you'd imagine he should progress next year. I think he's a smart horse but I can't tell you how good he's going to be. Some of the horses that handle nice quick ground you get to this time of year and there's nowhere to go except Dundalk so it's a good facility for that and Dad doesn't mind running a good one.

I'm very pleased. They went very fast, Ronan just dropped her in, and she came home well. She might get a little bit further,. She didn't run very well the last day, when she was mid-division, but she's been a light filly and she's after strengthening a bit with time. It's up to her owners, we'll see what they want to do with her, but she seems grand so I'd say we'll keep her going here.
McCann & McAteer on the mark with Fashaar
The last night things just happened too quick for him. We knew seven is his winning trip and stepping back worked out,. He gave him a very good ride. He got off him the last night and apologised because he had gone too far in front. There is no controlling of him really but Luke actually had him well under control tonight. The plan was just to sit in, to sit on something's girth if possible. He broke very well and he gave him a very good ride. Unfortunately Luke's just not getting enough rides at the moment but hopefully this will help him along the way.
