Meade wins opener at Punchestown
That possibly wasn't the strongest of Novice Hurdles but we thought he'd go on the ground. He's a stronger horse this year and he jumps well. We'll go for the For Auction Race at Navan with him next.
Bob Lingo impresses at Punchestown
I was probably a bit disappointed the last day, but I'd say he learned a lot more in that race than he did here today and that stood to him. He pulled up a fresh horse which surprised me considering the ground conditions and there maybe more to come. I always thought he was a good ground horse but Davy [Russellsaid he floated on that stuff out there today. So as far as I'm concerned he goes on all ground.

That's a relief, he jumped super and he jumped to the front at times. The Drinmore Chase is next on the agenda over 2 1/2 miles and I wouldn't rule out going back over 2 miles if the ground came up like a bog at Christmas.
