Arnaud springs 16/1 surprise in Limerick opener
I think he is nice horse but I thought he might need the run.
Outsider My Murphy takes the Limerick feature
This fellow is a good staying chaser in the making. He never travelled the last day but he travelled much better today. He is still a big baby and he might have one more run over hurdles.
First winner for Dullea as Dog lands gamble
That's my first winner on the track. I've had around ten point-to-point winners and I have my license a year and a half. I was with John Murphy for two years before that. This fellow is a nice horse and he will be better over fences and he will go back over them now. He lost his confidence after winning his point-to-point's. I trained Newmill in his latter days but we just couldn't get him over the line. He is retired now and went to a good few shows over the summer and was at the Dublin Horse Show.
Favourite Medical Card wins for Meade/Carberry
He shows flashes of being good at home but then he disappoints. In hindsight his run at Punchestown wasn't too bad. He is better off being up with the pace as that makes up his mind for him. He is bred to stay and his dam is a half-sister to What a Question and we will see what the handicapper does with him now.
Society collars Rock in the shadow of the post
I'm only back from Leopardstown and I only heard the commentary on the way down. He probably wants better ground and he can't really get a big mark for that win. He has been disappointing and was pulling himself up in races but like a lot of my horses he was probably sick.
Lastofthepilots takes the finale at Limerick
He will go for a maiden hurdle next.
