Well backed Tithonus continues Hogan's run
he's been a bit disappointing but he stays, and now that he's won one hopefully he can win a couple. Denis is a good trainer, and someone in the yard told him that he was ready.

Doyle's Surprise gives trainer a welcome win
that's his (Northern Surprise) first run here but I just got a feeling he'd handle it as it's been riding a bit easier this year. He'll go for something similar in a few weeks time if all is well. The only time I can remember Pat riding for me before was on a horse called Destiny's Child, and she won here as well.
Dodgybingo wins in Pinch Hitter's colours
that's my first two-year-old winner for a long while. He's only starting to mature, and was still very green. I was worried how he'd handle being under the lights, and he was looking all around. He could be a dual-purpose horse in time as he's big enough.

Maskoon off the mark for Marnane
we bought him at the Horses In Training Sale, and he's owned by a good friend Joe Curran from Bansha who now lives in London.
On-fire Cromwell strikes again
he's so genuine, and has won four now since September and was beaten a nose another night. That's his first time over a mile and a quarter and I think there's a mile 0-100 handicap here on Friday week that he could go for.
