Condon draws on Medical Card
He was second at Cork last time but the track didn't really suit there as you need to be quick. Here suited much better as it is more of a test with an uphill finish and he is bred to be a stayer. I had it in mind to send him over fences but the way he won there could see him go for a novice hurdle now. He'll be a staying chaser in time.
Psycho too hot for his Naas rivals
He's done it well and deserved that. He jumped well, particularly at those fences before the straight and that really kept him in the race. Davy still had a bit of horse at the finish. He has plenty of options at Christmas and we'll decide in a few weeks as to where he'll run. He is in the Lexus and if it cut up into a small field that could be an option. He is in the Dial-A-Bet over two miles too . he has plenty of entries.
Alaivan back with a bang
It's not easy to place these four-year-olds. He is a nice horse but I don't really know where he'll go next. The good two miler at Leopardstown is the only race for him at Christmas. Anyway I'm pleased he's won here.
McAlpine Syndicate get quick pay-back with Loup
He got a super ride from Davy who is doing everything right at the moment. The horse worked extremely well last Saturday so we knew he had his chance coming here. He is in again at the weekend but he is highly unlikely to run again so soon. He has done his bit for us now.
Dolphin wins again
I'm delighted to get a race for the owners (the Tonson-Ryes) who have been in the game a long time. The horse has been very consistent since I've got him. I felt we needed to claim off him here given the weight we had and the lad gave him a great ride. We'll see how he comes out of this before deciding where we'll go next.
Carrigmartin shrugs aside inexperience & big weight
He handled the ground well and did it nicely. I had planned to give him a break thinking he wouldn't handle the ground but we'll have to have a rethink now. He is settling much better in his races now and hopefully it's onward and upwards from here.
Bullet kills off Ceol Rua's bid
She is very honest and went on the ground.
