We'll take our time with him and find a winners of one,.
Phase repeats Cork success
It was a very good performance by horse and rider,. HRI and Cork racecourse deserve to be commended for putting on the meeting so quickly again. They were unlucky with the sheer volume of rain that feel last weekend. New Phase probably doesn't get the credit he deserves. He's a very good horse and the older he gets the better he's handling the soft ground. Today was the plan and we hadn't looked beyond that. He jumped well.
Walsh Lords it as Mullins saddles one-two
Heavy ground is the key to him. He can't jump as fast as the others on faster ground,. I wouldn't be afraid to run him over a longer trip. He's probably better suited by hurdles and I'm not sure about chasing with him.

Fishers reels in the favourite
He's related to Rhythm Section - the horse that beat me on Heist in the Champion Bumper years ago (1993). He was the biggest certainty ever going to Cheltenham!. He's a big baby but has always shown us a bit. He was a bit green but is a lovely honest horse and stays really well. He's in the sales at Newbury on Friday evening.
Never say never for Twelfth
She's one of the most unlucky horses I've ever had and it's a good day to win a race with her,. She barely wants to do it and the 7lb mares claim plus Declan's 5lb was a big help. She's been placed many times and has been quite difficult. We've had to pony her to the start a few times. She's owned by my sister Christina and her husband Glen (Howitt) and was previously owned by Matt O'Connor's father John.
