She got through the ground well and that was a big help this evening as I'd imagine a few did not handle it. She has got a little bit of speed her Dam was a very good sprinter when she was trained by Aidan O'Brien. We will take our chance in handicap next.

Smullen wins aboard Firey Red
We will go for the Fairy Bridge in Tipperary towards the end of August next. She won over 6 furlongs here on her only start as a two year old. A mile today was probably as far as she'd want, I've always had it in my mind that she was 7 furlong horse.
Takestan gives Lavery his first winner
I'm delighted for Gary. He came to me on a week's work experience and his mother told me he wanted to be a jockey so I suggested he go to the Race Apprentice school and he's only just out of there.
Hayden strikes again
That's my sixth winner of the season. I have nine horses in training and that's five individual winner's as one of the horses won twice. He got through the ground better than I thought. This horse is owned by Anthony Calahan who is a doctor from Bandon. We will probably go for something similar with him next.
