The winner, Haul Away (IRE), appeared to show improved form, compared with its previous run at Worcester on 18 August 2021 where the gelding finished sixth of nine runners, beaten by 26 lengths.
The representative of Nicky Henderson explained that Haul Away (IRE) had been suited by a return to hurdles and further appreciated the drop in grade.
His explanation was noted and the gelding was routine tested.
