Daintree follows up recent sprint win at Dundalk
She's improving all the time. I said we'd give her a run in it and obviously Ado's horse, no disrespect to him, didn't turn up on the day. We beat him by half a length the last day and we were 18lb worse off so realistically we had no chance of beating him. She's improving with every run. I'd say the handicapper won't miss her now but that's two she's won now so it's great. Emmanuel's mother was looking down on her, the woman who bred her. We only buried her last Wednesday. I've an association with the family since Up And At 'Em. I've been training horses for the family for 30 years now so that's a great result.

O'Connor continues good run with Jered Maddox
Adamaris stays on best in Dundalk feature
Rory gave him a beautiful ride, we just told him to give him plenty of cover and once he goes for him to make up his mind. He did it nicely enough in the end. We'll look for another race over a mile-and-six or two miles up here. He has schooled over hurdles, and run over hurdles, but I'm kind of afraid to run him in case we do damage to him because there are plenty of Flat races in him.
Seattle Creek brings up 90/1 double for in-form O'Connor
Whelan seen to good effect as Alhajeeb opens Irish account
Ronan was just class on him, he gave him a serious ride. He took his time on him, codded him, and when he hit the front on him he said he had to throw the kitchen sink at him to keep him going. He gave him a beautiful ride. He's a tricky enough horse to train. He has slipped down to a nice rating, he came out of England last year and he's been a little bit disappointing. It's great for Eddie (Battersby) who is a longstanding patron. He'll probably mix and match it and he'll be an ideal summer horse over hurdles.
Birthday girl Flynn stars again on dad's Power Drive
That's my second winner and on the same horse, he's a great help to me. I was taking a look to see if I was going too fast. He hasn't run for nearly two months and was a bit fresh. He's in great form and we thought he'd run well but he was drawn 15 so we thought I wouldn't get to the front. He flew out of the stalls and I was able to cut in. It was basically the exact same as when he won first time, I had nobody around me and I can't believe nothing got anywhere close to him. He just takes off and I can't pull him up at the end either!
McGuinness and Whelan double up with Skontonovski
I often tell young lads to count to 10 and I'd say he counted to 20 up the straight! He's just a class apart and he didn't panic. Two runs ago the horse was second and got 4lb, sometimes the handicapper does that to you up here during the winter and that can stop you for the rest of the year. He's won four times for us since we bought him last July so he owes us nothing and he's a great fun horse. He might get a little break and then kick on back on the turf. I think Ronnie made the big difference there. He just didn't get involved, put the horse asleep and left him asleep until the last furlong.
