Adamaris recorded a fourth career win and second over this course and distance in the space of five weeks when taking the featured two-mile Find Us On Facebook @dundalkstadium Handicap.

The Ger O’Leary-trained gelding was easy-to-back at 9/1 but again showed he’s well suited by a test of stamina when finishing strongly under Rory Cleary.

The front-running King Of Cashel looked like he might take some pegging back at the furlong pole but stamina kicked in for Adamaris who got on top in the final 100 yards to score by a length. Nibiru kept on under pressure to just deny King Of Cashel by a neck for the runner-up berth.

O'Leary said, "Rory gave him a beautiful ride, we just told him to give him plenty of cover and once he goes for him to make up his mind.

“He did it nicely enough in the end. We'll look for another race over a mile-and-six or two miles up here.

“He has schooled over hurdles, and run over hurdles, but I'm kind of afraid to run him in case we do damage to him because there are plenty of Flat races in him.”
