Patient champ Keane delivers again at Dundalk
They seemed to go a good gallop for the grade of race so that worked in our favour,. Colin felt they were going plenty quick so he was happy enough to bide his time for the first half of the race, trust that they'd come back to him and his horse would pick up. Thankfully that's what he did. He's a grand horse. He's a nice one to have, insofar as you know he's going to show up most days he runs and in this kind of grade he falls in for a win every now and then. Hopefully we can hold on to him and he can pick up a couple on the turf.

Much to look forward to for Geoghegan with prolific Chateau
He's in great form, I can't believe it. Five runs, three wins, a second and a third, what can you say,. He travelled really well today and he seems to like that trip too. It's his second time over a mile-and-a-half but the last day he ran a bit free. He seems to be a horse on the improve. There is another mile-and-a-half here in a couple of weeks time but he'll hardly be in a 0-65 then. He loves this surface. Initially we always thought he wanted soft ground but he proved us wrong and he could be a horse for nice ground on the turf.
Rutledge earns praise after winning on Drakensberg again
He's a horse that has been knocking on the door. He won a couple here a few years ago and is back off a competitive mark,. With those horses at that range claiming off them is vital. He's at a stage where he can run well and then you have to be lucky enough for things to go right. Siobhan claiming 7lb off him really helped, that was the difference, and she rode him as well as any non claiming jockey. She didn't panic on him. It's not like she went ten wide, she waited until the straight and he has that little bit of toe. They went strong enough in it.
Keane doubles up on Spelga
He's very consistent and always runs a good race,. It was a ridiculously slowly run. Colin got a lovely position on him and I'd say the visor just helped him concentrate up the straight. It's lovely to win with him as Paul Rooney has been a great owner for us and the horse has been a good servant to him. It's great for Paul to get a winner because the owners are fantastic to have stayed so loyal all through the pandemic. Paul in particular loves nothing more than a day out at the races and we really appreciate his support. He'll get a good kick out of that.
Forbearance wrong in the market right on the track
