If I had ducks they would drown!. They are all running well but something always seems to be happening. Here the last day a horse broke his leg near the line and Roachdale House was cruising there in the last (before unseating). This lad looked like he was never going to win and he's won so you don't know. He was very green. He jumps brilliant at home. I think he'll improve but he's just not a natural hurdler. He jumps great at home. I might try him in cheek-pieces, it's hard to put on after winning but it's only for jumping. He lacks that little bit of sharpness over jumps but it will comes. We might find a novice handicap somewhere. He might go for a novice as there would be less runners and he might learn a bit more but it's probably too good for him. He's had his wind done since the last day when he gurgled. He didn't do anything right then and jumped terrible over the wooden hurdles. He's used to them hurdles and jumps them better but he needs to get better with his jumping. At home you couldn't fault him. He's a nice little horse and his form in bumpers last year was steady. We all had a few quid on him. I had a double with the other lad so that would have been great!

He looked beat and Paul gave him a great ride. I said to Pat (Keating) today that if he was going to win again it would be today. He's in good form, the ground suited him and he's won here before. He was back down to a mark that he was capable of winning off as well.
Incredible See Double You a winner at 16
It's unbelievable and I'm almost speechless,. I really wanted to win in Ireland at 16. He did it at 15 and it's hard to believe that he can do it at 16. He's been a very very special horse for us. There probably hasn't been a 16-year-old won in Ireland. I know there has in England. I really wanted to do it in Ireland and get him down in the history books. I bought this horse the day after my dad was buried so he means a lot to me and he always has. He's as fresh and he's looked after like a baby. The whole family loves and adores him. I thought he had hit the front maybe a bit soon and they were all coming to challenge him and would probably come for him but he really knuckled down and jumped the last three. He didn't let us down and he was awesome. For seven months I endured absolute torture. It was like last, last, last, pulled up. Finally at Downpatrick I had a fourth and a third. He was third but I wasn't really happy with him to be honest. We took him to the vet and he had a wee problem with his stifle after that. He jumped very poor which isn't like him so we worked on his stifle. I told Darragh (O'Keefe) he would have a different horse today and we were right. That would probably be a good note to finish him on but I'm going to ride him over in England once and probably finish him at that. I have won on him seven times. And for myself and him that's how we will finish. He's a legend!
Meade and O'Sullivan a formidable team
Timing is everything! She's had two rides for me and two wins so you can't do better than that. I presume she'll be riding them all now in the ladies' bumpers. We thought we rode her wrong the last day in the north and I thought for a minute we rode her wrong there as well. She actually knew what she was at because she thought they went a bit quick and started to go early, so she let them go a bit and once she pulled her out she said she picked up really well. She's a nice filly and she goes on the ground. I'd say we'll probably try jumping with her now.
