Doyle in cross country double
I nearly had three winners only for Fit The Cove (his Vasoni was runner-up in the last at Tipp) and it's great that this fellow finally got his act together. We'd been dropping him in and settling him but he wasn't finishing out his races. We just strode along with him today. He's a smashing horse and he has loads of ability. He's a real chaser. He'll possibly go for a novice hurdle in Galway now over two miles. We'll see how he is after this though. Martin rides out with me and he's a good rider. He doesn't get enough chances but when he does he's well capable of doing the job.
Dramatic Mayo News at Ballinrobe
In-form Brady wins with Audrelles Lad
He's stepping up to the mark every time. He's a good ground horse and he didn't like the ground today, but his class got him through. He might go for a novice hurdle on the second day of Galway. He's improving all the time. He's only been in training since he was eight last year so there could be more to come.
Two In A Row lands major gamble
Moving On a poignant winner
I only took my licence back out this year. He's a grand horse, he's 100 per cent game and he loves racing.
Celtic Abbey gets the money back
It's a pit he didn't win the first day [seventh at Tipperary on 19 April]. He's a good horse. I've always thought that. It's great to see him getting the win. He won it like a decent horse though it probably wasn't a great race. I'll talk to the owner, but he'll probably go for the winners bumper at Galway. He has always shown plenty at home.
