I though Ionisphere hadn't much of a chance on today's ground as he won a point to point on fastish ground. He is still immature, and while he is no superstar, should provide plenty of fun for us during the summer.
McNamara unphased by Awkward Moment
New Phase is still a bit novicey and has lots to learn over hurdles. He'll go back to the Flat for a 1m2f handicap on The Curragh's opening day in a few weeks time and he may run at the Punchestown Festival.
Drussell scores for Donohoe/ Townend
Drussell is just beginning to get his act together over hurdles and while he won off a nice mark today, is open to further progression - he probably won't be high enough rated to run in the Fred Winter Juvenile Handicap Hurdle at Cheltenham though.
