Train meets blockage as Mr wins
I was a bit worried about the ground (soft to heavy) coming over here,. Paul said the further he went the better he got. He didn't jump well early. He had a bit of luck and you need that.
Carberry excels as he doubles up with Elliott
Super result for Lee and Mullins
It was hard to pick which one might win and we're just delighted that they both ran so well,. The little filly stayed on great and hopefully if the owner is happy to go we'll go to Galway late in the week with both. They are two grand fun fillies. They're no stars but they're our stars. We're very proud of them both. I didn't back either of them as I couldn't split them. There was two stone between them but first and second is kind of what you'd be dreaming might happen. It was the first time I ever ran two. I never did it before and didn't want to do it, but we might do it again now!. The boys gave them great rides. They're two easy fillies to train and hopefully they'll stay right.
Slick Aminabad back on track
Seasoned hardened Kyle does it again
He's as tough as nails and he started off by winning his point-to-point on his own. An injury is all that kept him back and after backing him at Tipperary I had a few quid on him this evening as well. I couldn't see Gordon Elliott's four-year-old, Mustadrik (11/10 favourite, 5th) beating him as this fella is a seasoned hardened horse.
Pride lands Some bets with win for O'Hare
I was really confident about our first horse (Cracking Man - finished last in the fifth and didn't go un-backed either) but I picked the wrong distance for him. He didn't stay.
In-form Maguire not for beating on game Brog
I thought we weren't coming as the ground was too soft,. We made our mind up at about 2 o'clock as the ground changed from heavy, to soft to heavy, so we said we'd come and see. She is a tough little horse, she is only handy but she gives her all every day she goes out. We'll wait and see where she goes, we'll give her a bit of time off now and we'll see what's coming up. She'll go over hurdles before we retire her for the year.
