Dreaper and Donoghue Know The Game
He’s a lovely horse, ran well the last day but he’s an absolute chaser in the making. Just due to lack of options, we went to Thurles the last day to give him a race somewhere. He’s entered at Down Royal on St Stephen’s Day and might roll on to there. He’s a typical one of ours — he’s big, green and awkward. We probably ran him in the wrong races, but we needed to teach him how to race. I can’t say enough about the owners (Newell family) as they are the easiest people to train for. Keith is in with us on dark and dirty Monday mornings and without him I’d be snookered.

Impaire Et Passe one for the notebook
He galloped out through the line and on that ground there is not too many that will do that today. He seems to have a huge among of scope jumping. He just put down at the last, I think it was the first one he was in front. He has huge potential and is one to look forward to for Simon (Munir) and Isaac (Souede). He’s not entered in the Lawlors and maybe we could look at the Moscow Flyer in Punchestown.
Harvey up and running in paid ranks
Those unplaced maidens are great for horses that are not going to be top drawer. We gave him three runs and he was a bit babyish there at the end and I wasn’t sure if he was going to go by the other horse who had plenty of experience. He stuck at it well and you would imagine there will be a bit of improvement to come. The first two pulled well clear. He’s a big, tall Shantou horse and I’d say we won’t delay him too long over hurdles. We’ll see what kind of mark we get. He has the scope for fences. That’s Ben’s first winner as a professional. He’s a good horseman.
Halka Du Tabert gallops her rivals into submission
She’s a nice mare. She has a good high cruising speed, but just gallops at the back of it and I told Jack to make plenty of use of her today. I liked from the second last to the line the way she galloped. I’d say she’s smart. She might go next for the Solerina in Fairyhouse at the end of January.

Mullins seals brace through Loughglynn
He was good and he’s improved. He’s a laidback type of horse and he kept responding. I think he’ll go out in trip as he doesn’t do anything quick. He stays very well and is a great ride — he only gives what you ask for which is always a help. We took a chance running him in a hundred grand race last year. I think he’s improved a lot and I think he’ll improve again.
