Marnane's good run continues
This is a great spot for me I rode a couple of winner's around here as a jockey for Mick O'Toole years ago. Martin and Lynda Francis bred this fellow and then bought him back from England awhile ago. He had lost his way in England so I'm glad we got the win out of him. We are enjoying a great season this year and hopefully it will continue.
Watch This at Laytown
He has taken his time but he's a lovely big horse and he jumps well. We will either go for another handicap or go hurdling with him. He absolutely loved the conditions and it's great to have a winner around here, I think it's the only place in the world where they race on the beach.
Latham wins aboard Royal Entourage
The horse was hanging in the closing stages as the rail gets very narrow close to the line. He'd appreciate a little bit further maybe another 2 furlongs. He deserved that win as he has been very unlucky with bad ground and bad runs and like all of our horses he needs good ground. He will make a lovely jumper for someone that's his game next. Vincent Gaul the owner is a great patron for us and we're delighted the horse won for him.
