Spanish Tenor hits right notes in Tipperary
I thought the ground was ok for him and on his handicap mark and form he was entitled to do that. He'll probably be claimed. I'll be sad to see him go but at the same time he is rated 94 and he is below Listed class and a bit high in the handicap. He has been a great horse for us and was third here in the Concorde Stakes in the past.

Gyldan wins nicely on debut for Murphy
She is a very well-bred filly but has been a triumph for perseverance. She has always shown us plenty but has had problems, nothing of any major significance, and hasn't hit the track until now as a four-year-old. We didn't expect her to win first-time out and black-type will be the aim with her at some point. I'd say six (furlongs) is her ideal trip but she is a typical sprinter and has plenty enthusiasm for the game. It is a big step up to win first-time-out and step into a pattern race so we'll find a winners' race or handicap for her next. The long-term aim will be for black-type. We have two horses for Ballylinch and both have won so they'll have to send on more!
Master Matt sees off Strong Johnson in sprint
Colin (Keane) was good and strong on him and it was a good effort off that rating. When the bell goes (in the parade ring) and the jockey gets up he can be funny, but when he gets out and is going he is 100 per cent. We'll take it as we find it and even last year he was improving and appears to have improved again. He is a fair horse, he can win from five to seven (furlongs) and has plenty of pace and stays. Hopefully we'll have a good summer with him.
Future Romance delivers for Howard
She was very good but it was a very ordinary handicap and Wayne gave her a great ride and was good and positive. She seemed to get the run of the race and the bit of an ease in the ground helped. She is a very well-bred mare and we'll probably go for something similar. I'm hoping she'll be good enough to win a little hurdle.
