Rosebud blossoms on debut
Yellow Rosebud is a filly with a lot of talent and did it with the minimum of fuss. She has the makings of a lovely filly and there is a lot of improving to come. She'll have a couple of weeks off now and come back for the Debutante Stakes at The Curragh.

Zip Top is a smart horse and will go down the same route as any of the good two year olds. Kevin (Manning) said he could even go back to six furlongs.

Apprentice Dawson scores on Wisdom
I'm delighted for Ray to have ridden a winner for me as his uncle Luke McMahon (a prominent bookmaker and owner) is a good friend of mine. Ray rode out with us a few mornings and is a nice young lad, and like all winners, gave Words Of Wisdom a good ride!
Sheikh Mohammed completes double
His Excellency has always shown plenty at home but it has taken a while for the penny to drop. He ran well at Roscommon when he was squeezed at the start. He had a chance today on that run and delivered. He is entered in the July Sales and could have another run before then. He is a fine big, good looking horse.
Morgan restores Pride
Mountain Pride had a wind operation when he came to us and had his first run for me at Navan the last day. . Myself and his owner had a huge bet on him to win and we didn't think he could get beaten - he did today what we thought he'd do at Navan!. He'll probably go for a handicap hurdle now but fractured his pelvis in the past and as a result he's an alright but not a super jumper.
Bookmakers have last Laugh
an hour ago I nearly took her out of the race as the rain was getting into the ground! However the lads said they were getting through it ok. She settled well today, that was the key, because if she failed to settle she wouldn't have got home. It wasn't a bad little race and at least now we knew she stays and that opens up a range of options.
