Thornbrook makes a winning start under McDonogh
She's a nice filly and Joseph thought a fair bit of her at home. Declan wanted to go forward on her but she was a little bit slowly away, which is usual because at home she was good. He got shuffled back so he had to sit where he was but she travelled lovely. He said he probably didn't want to commit her that soon but he had to because she was travelling so well when the gap came. He said she had a look in front and there is improvement in her. I think she's quite smart. She'll definitely go for a stakes race next time, where I don't know. He said she loved that ground as well.
McLoughlin keeps fine run going with Howyoulikethat
Ha Ha Ha laughs at her rivals
She did it well. She's a nice filly and she's only improving now, she took a while to build into it in the spring,. She had two runs and then won her maiden, that's another step forward. We'll go up through the ranks like that. She probably wants the ground a little bit easier but she went on that tonight. It's lovely good, quick ground but safe.
Smaoineamh Sile follows up at Leopardstown
That's great and she was given another good ride by Dylan. She was paddling a bit in the end but had been in front for a good bit and was getting a bit lonely. Obviously she came forward for winning the last day and hopefully can keep going as the handicapper is going to have his say again. The penny is dropping. That sort of trip suits and places like Killarney, front-running tracks, might suit her. Peter (Commane) is a really loyal owner and I'm happy to get another winner for him.
Fairytale winner for Kidd on a golden evening for Harrington
It's not a bad night! He's a brilliant horse, he's my lead horse and he works like a group horse,. He gave him a great ride, full of confidence, stuck to the inside. He didn't interfere with him, when proper jockeys get on him they kind of bully him and he hates it. He loved going around there thinking he was in charge. It's a nice pot for him to win. It's brilliant for his first ride and he'll be spoilt forever now!. He came to me from RACE and has been with me all winter. He's a super worker.
Rosscarbery continues to thrive for Twomey
She's hardy and since she came out of the other race she's been in great form. We hadn't done a lot with her but she was up the front of the string cantering and bouncing off the gallop. I couldn't see any reason not to run again. She's got a bit of class, she's tough and she carried a penalty there. That's probably her limit, a mile-and-six is probably as far as she wants to go. To be fair she's won from a mile to a mile-and-six in a three month window.
