The Jessica Harrington-trained Ha Ha Ha proved too strong for her rivals when making all for a convincing success in the Richmond Homes Handicap at Leopardstown.

Shane Foley bounced out in front on the 11/4 favourite and she always had too much up her sleeve for her rivals in the straight.

The Dark Angel filly kept on strongly in the closing stages to post a length-and-a-half success over Torn in the mile contest.

It was a follow up win for Ha Ha Ha as she had opened her account in maiden company at Listowel early last month.

“She did it well. She's a nice filly and she's only improving now, she took a while to build into it in the spring,” said Harrington.

“She had two runs and then won her maiden, that's another step forward. We'll go up through the ranks like that.

“She probably wants the ground a little bit easier but she went on that tonight. It's lovely good, quick ground but safe.”

When asked if she would look for black-type with the winner she added: "Yes, towards the end of the season.

“I hope she'll stay in training next season because I think she'll be better as a four-year-old.

“She's a half-sister to Jack Naylor and the way she won that she'll stay a mile-and-a-quarter.”
