Market gets it wrong but Blackmore right again
All The Chimneys wins his 1st race in nearly 2 years
All our horses weren't right last year and hopefully we have them right this year,.
Classy Scarpeta enjoys step-up to 3 miles for comfortable win
Early 21st present for Holden courtesy of Shark's Boy at Clonmel
We ran him over fences a week ago and Rachael Blackmore, who rode him, came in and said he was a coward and to go back over hurdles. We had him entered here at the time and that's why we ran him,. He is a little bit of a rogue and I don't think chasing is going to be a part of his life!. He is one of those horses who things have to fall for him but he likes it around here. He wants a bit of nice ground and we'll probably put him away until next year now. I said to the young lad to 'stay wide, on the bends and all, and if you're out any further you'll be in the trees'. They were the only instructions I gave him.
Poignant success for the Sean O'Brien yard
It was brilliant to get it and he came back to his hurdles form when he won here. I thought on his hurdles rating he was over-priced,. At Cork it was just a simple novicey mistake and he fell but he was good today when he wanted him. There's a novice for him at Limerick over Christmas but I don't want to be bottoming him on real deep ground so we'll see. It's also my first winner since my mother Eileen passed away a few months ago. She was a big part of the team, so today was a welcome boost and we appreciate it.
King's grand servant Captures 9th win in race full of Drama
The ground was a bit fast for him the last day and he ran out of steam. To be honest today's race was a weak enough one and he got his own way, that was the biggest thing. He is that type of horse that he likes to get things his own way and dictate the pace,. He is a lovely horse to have and is unbelievably sound. His best ground is probably just before it gets heavy.
Cheveley Park Elliott and Codd going great
He improved with every run for us and Jamie said he was probably in front too soon on him and if he was to ride him again on softer ground over a trip he could drop him in,. He'll pay his way and he jumps well enough that he'll jump a fence in time as well. It's great to have another winner for Cheveley Park and things are going great. I'd imagine we'll step him up to three miles in a handicap over Christmas.
