Winning debut for Enda Bolger's filly
She is out of a very good mare and was showing us all along she has talent. However I thought all along she'd have taken the race to make her street-wise but Mark said she was very professional. She was never going to point-to-point as she is racey and everything comes very easy to her. I'm over the moon and didn't think beyond today.
No worries for 1/7 fav Bapaume
Glentruan scores for Neville and Noonan
He ran in a good race the last day (8th at Leopardstown) and is a lovely horse who will hopefully make a lovely chaser,. There's a lovely local syndicate involved in him. I have five or six mostly young horses for loyal owners but am struggling and finding it very hard, like everyone else. We can train them if we get them though. Hopefully things will pick up - we might get a few English owners!
Takarengo scores over hurdles but Flat prizes the main aim
He is a very good jumper but hates jumping. He needs a bit of nice ground, doesn't want firm and was in really good order today but today was his day over hurdles. Hurdling really isn't for him but if the owner (Mrs Rita Byrne) wants he'll run at Punchestown but his main target is the Cesarewitch. He was third in it last year (behind Great White Shark) and whether or not we mind his mark until then I don't know, as there are nice pots between here and then.

Thunderosa handles the better ground to gain second win
Hilltop Supreme completes handicap hurdle four-timer
He was chasing and running well without winning but totally lost his confidence over fences so we decided to go back hurdling because he was well handicapped. I'll go to Fairyhouse for a big handicap three-miler if he gets in. He is improving and hopefully he will come back here for a Cork National some day.
