John F Kennedy can't cope with Fame
He looked good. I didn't do anything with him since Gowran. With a nice 2yo you don't like to see them beaten that far but he ran very green there. He has obviously come on. Kevin said he can go anywhere from seven furlongs up and he is a proper horse. We could look at the Futurity if it doesn't come too soon.
Front-running Mezogiorno gets off mark
She has threatened for a long time to do that. The key is getting her out in front. She has been a slow learner. We've always thought she needed a positive ride. She made the running in Bellewstown but they attacked her early and she didn't get home. In Killarney on the tight track she didn't get to the front. It was a very good ride from Conor who is riding well at the moment.
Naylor takes the Silver Flash for Harrington
She stays really well and probably a mile will suit her better. She loves that ground. She did it like she hoped I would and I'm delighted for Gerry (owner Gerard Byrne). She is in the Debutante and I would quite like to go but she will probably have a penalty now and it might be hard to carry. We might supplement her for the Moyglare but I don't know yet. She has got her big blacktype and she is a winner of two races now.
Gleneagles gets the job done in the Tyros
I'm delighted with that. Sometimes those three runner races can be messy. He probably learned plenty and Joseph took his time on him. They went slow early and then picked up. He did the right thing relaxing him and coming home. He rode him to educate him. I'd say he will improve a good bit as he is still babyish. Joseph said he got a little tired.
Snagsby holds on to land gamble
It's good to get. I thought he'd win off 66 but it was looking like he wouldn't for a while,. It's nice to get a winner for Luke (McMahon), it's been a while. I've no plans really . that was the plan.
Lady records her thirteenth career success
Connor gets a tune out of her. She would have been a very unlucky loser as she got squeezed up and he had to snatch up and go around. She is a good old mare to have and she keeps me ticking over. She is in the amateur race at Galway on Monday but that is highly unlikely it was a bit of an afterthought.
O'Brien's double up with Mirabilis
The mile and a half obviously helped him. He got the trip well and he stays well. He is in a handicap at Galway.
