Nash & Blackmore successfully team up with Snapius
He got a great ride as I told Rachael he wouldn't like the ground but I hoped he might be quicker than the others, and she obviously took that on board. She said he jumped great and that's her first winner for me. It was a weak enough race but coming down the road you couldn't be confident with a horse who wants good ground. Maybe it is so wet though that it is probably loose - they seemed to gallop away through it. We bought him in a claimer (for €20,000) and we were happy the whole way through but he never turned up at Haydock the last day. I had four or five juveniles and wanted to use him to get a line through the other ones but he ran terribly on the day. He will run through the summer and mix hurdling with the Flat.

Storm Mahler another father & son winner at Cork
I'm delighted for Michael Hannon, from Clarina Co Limerick, who has had horses with us for a few years and it is great to build on his second placing the last day. He is a handy horse but is a gamey old devil. He probably doesn't want bottomless but they're getting through it as it is loose. He'll run through the summer as he'll go on nicer ground.
Cawley continues good week with Waittillitellyou
He has had his own little problems so you couldn't race him on good ground. He was ready to run at Christmas but my horses were coughing, so I left him alone, and then we were getting summer ground for a while, which I couldn't believe. I was delighted to see the recent rain coming. He'll need a dig in the ground to run next at Fairyhouse but that's where we'll go if we can get him in.
Ohgren opens Irish account as Killinure Lass quickly follows up
I was Champion Amateur Jockey in Sweden in the past and also won the Swedish Amateur Derby in 2019 but riding in Ireland is better and more professional. I've had one ride in an Irish point-to-point and have had a few rides on the racecourse. It's half a game of chance and sometimes it could be the worse thing in the world to turn them out quick after a race but it worked out today. She'll definitely get a break now.
Kiely on the mark again in the bumper with Penny Glory
This is a nice mare and she was well prepared before I got her and had plenty of work done. The bit of age helped her on the ground and she got a lovely ride. Maxine is first class and it makes a big difference. I have the mare three months, she has a good line (pedigree) and it all helps. We'll see how she comes out of today's race, and it was quite demanding, before making plans.
Blizzard Of Oz cruises home for Willie & Patrick in the finale
He had been very disappointing but Captain Cody (finished sixth at Cheltenham) is a better horse than we thought and I don't think we were hard enough on this fellow at home. Since he was beaten at Limerick we have been much harder on him and I think he is fitter. I think he is a good horse, he has the size to jump and loved that ground. I'm imagine he'll go for a winners' bumper and Aintree is a possibility, along with Punchestown.
