Cromwell trains his first two year old winner
I bought her at Goffs for €9,500 and she's one of my best purchases — she's a cheap filly. It was a good performance as she was drawn wide and got a bump that cost her a few lengths. It's great to win a two-year-old race with her as she's so big - that's my first two-year-old winner and I have six of them in training. I'll probably give her a break now and look for something at the back-end of the year. She could be nice next year.
Schubert off-key, Lynam & Lee take advantage
one horse (Schubert) collided with the rail but I don't know if he would have won or not. Billy (Lee) said she came home strongly and he was happy with her. I don't know what happened her the last day - I couldn't find an excuse. I did what I don't usually do and put a pair of blinkers on a filly - some clever trainers do it so I said I'd give it a try!. She's back to herself now and thankfully last time was a blip.

Zebgrey claims second win in a month
we were going to go straight to Galway but I thought she ran very well last week when she was a bit keen. She takes time to pick up but gallops away and she'll run on the first night at Galway in the three-year-old handicap. The further she goes the better. She was very scatty last year but is after developing, growing and copping on.
Mr Right scores second win in under 24 hours
the team have done a great job getting him back out again. He was kicking the door down this morning and his bloods were good so there was no reason not to run him. Full credit has to go to Donagh — he (Mr Right) was very keen and raw down the back and when he did ‘drop it’ turning in, he gave him a chance and didn't panic. That was the winning of the race and he was very strong on him, so all credit to him. We'll treat him like a good horse now.
Carroll 'steals the day' on Fit For Function
Gary's enterprising ride stole the day as I thought the favourite (Balirmayne) was a certainty. He's a very hard horse to get fit but I don't think he'll have any problem getting seven (furlongs). I think he would be an ideal horse for Galway but it depends what the handicapper does with him.
Mullins' Barroso wins Leopardstown finale
I was keen to use her stamina and she stayed on well at the end.
