The Stewards interviewed Derek Cullen, Turf Club Starter, in relation to the start of this race where the stalls appeared to malfunction a number of times before eventually opening. Evidence was heard from Starter concerned, who stated that the stalls were tested before the race when they were put into position at the 1m2f start, and numerous times after the race and they worked on each occasion, and he could offer no reason why they malfunctioned. He added that a different bank of 10 stalls would be used for the remaining races and tested once put into position. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action. The Stewards interviewed Lorcan Wyer, Turf Club Clerk of the Course, Pat Keogh, CEO Leopardstown Racecourse and Ms. Nessa Joyce, Racing and Operations Manager Leopardstown Racecourse after the first race, having seen 2 horses lose their action crossing the roadway shortly after the start.
