Washington looks smart in opener
.He's a fast horse and travelled very strong. Dundalk is a great place to teach them and the Marble Hill Stakes now looks the right thing for him - I imagine he'll be a Norfolk Stakes horse,.
Sassaway on the mark again at Tipperary
The handicapper gave her a chance in fairness and she's a versatile mare, who has also won over seven furlongs,. She'll be busy all summer, likes good ground and she'll definitely be at the Curragh in June. I've no immediate plans but this will be her last year at it.
Aragon completes Ballydoyle double
He did it nicely, came forward from his run the last day and handled the ground,. He quickened up well and will stay further. We'll see where he'll slot in and he might go for one of the Trials at Lingfield, Chester or here in Ireland.
Unrequited gains deserved success
He was a winner without a penalty but that's all history now and we gelded him through the winter,. Like all of mine he was ready for a day but should improve for it. He is nowt special but is a nice horse and will be a fun horse for the summer. He wants fast ground and a trip. He is a feminine type horse who needs to grow but should do so as he gets older and will have a future over jumps.
Picotee makes it five from five for favs
He has been consistent with the exception of one run and has taken taken time to fill into his big frame,. We'll stick to two miles as he has plenty pace and will go for a novice hurdle next. He needs better ground and might go chasing before the end of the summer.
Disputed is sixth winning favourite
Favs clean up as Walsh wins on return
He went backwards after his first run but in the last fortnight he lit up,. I was assured (by the racecourse) that there would be no shock in the ground and he coped with it. Mark said he'd have no problem coming back in trip and he might be better over two and a half miles. He's a horse I hope will have some great years in him.
