Look provides Lyons with more juvenile joy
We're delighted with that. She's a lovely filly and she was very well bought by Gaelic Bloodstock,. The boys were working hard at the sales and that's where the name came from. It's very hard to buy pedigrees but she was the right model and they said they'd have to have one last look. They bought the look rather than the pedigree and it's worked out. Colin liked her and she was only ready to start out. We threw her in the winners race and sometimes they are easier to win than a big 20 runner maiden. He said that with her head low to the ground, and her action low to the ground, she wouldn't want it any quicker than that. He said it's beautiful ground but she wouldn't want it any quicker and we'll have to keep an eye on that. We'll take baby steps with her, look for a winner race or something like that and move on. We always liked her, Colin always liked her at home, but she will improve a lot from it.
Keane completes quick 51/1 double on Memsie
It's a long time since I had a winner in Leopardstown,. When you are as old as me you appreciate these things!. I still think six is his trip not seven. He'll probably go to the July Sales now, his job is done as we are sellers.

Raffaello & Nathan prevail in battle of the Crosses
Nathan said that his brother's horse might not stay. So I said 'make it a bit of a test for him',. He said 'I probably didn't go fast enough' but I said 'sure you won didn't you!'. He's an apprentice and he did everything right. The horse was game under him and it was grand to get another win for him. There are plenty of options for him and I'd still say he'd need a bit more of an ease in the ground. There might be a couple of races in Galway for him and we'll have a bit of fun with him.
Nimitz records a fifth career win
He's a grand old horse and is a pleasure to have around,. He'll probably to the Curragh for something next weekend once the rain stays away, the forecast is pretty good for next week. I have a sneaking suspicion though that he might be better off carrying weight against lesser horses rather than running in those premier handicaps.
Nathan Crosse doubles-up on Ar Eagla Na Heagla
Katie O'Farrell was schooling her over fences and we were going to give her a spin on the Flat first so decided to go here rather than go somewhere else far away,. The plan was to go to Roscommon on the 9th for a mares beginners chase. I don't know whether we'll go back to the Flat with her or not. That's the plan and she schools well. She was a mare that should probably have won a couple before but didn't. She'd never had a break and I let her off before Christmas for seven weeks. She came back and was never right. It took ages with her, it was nothing specific but she just wasn't in the mood if nothing else. She's been in great form the last couple of weeks so we'd said we'd run her on the Flat before going chasing. I didn't want to go over hurdles. She seems a great jumper and she's a big scopey mare. I bought her as a foal for a bit of fun and sure we're having it now. I always love to win up here. It's a great place, it's a small race but still it's great especially when you're not expecting it.
