Rosie Bassett off the mark on second start
She's quick! She's fairly mad and Shane (Foley) said she still doesn't even really know what she's doing at the moment. She actually missed the kick and he sat on her but she just goes. She won by a length-and-a-half and the front two were four lengths clear. Shane thinks she might be better on better ground. I don't know where we go from here as there isn't much left for her, which is a pity because she's doing that well. Most of her owners work in London and it's great because she's the first horse they've had.
Thriving Lustown Baba now a Listed winner
That ground was holding today but Leigh (Roche) said she loved it. I thought she was a bit too far back but Declan (McDonogh, rode stablemate Downforce) said they went very hard early on so it probably suited her. I thought she did it well there, she loved that ground and is an improving filly. She's an exciting filly for next year. It was tacky today, Leigh was out the back but there is no muck on him. The syndicate were patient with us last year and have been patient this year as they were looking for races during the summer but I said 'lads we can't run this one on quick ground yet as she's a big filly and needs more time'. Their patience has paid off. I'm delighted for Finn Sheedy, who bred her, as I think that's the first black-type in the family. That's it for the year, she's after having two quick runs. I thought she was far relaxed today and what more could we ask of her. We'll have plenty of time next year for her. She's a fine big filly.

The last couple of times the jockeys have liked him but said they couldn't get him to carry them so today I told Leigh to bounce out good and handy and it actually worked,. He works better than the horse (Enter The Red) that finished second earlier on. I actually fancied him today and he handles that ground. He's a good work horse but has disappointed on the racecourse and I'm delighted for the owners who had the patience to hang on. That might actually have taught him a bit today.
