Thefaithfulindian (9/2) was an eased-down winner of the Try Equilux Risk Free Handicap to give Colin Keane a double at the Curragh.
The Frozen Power filly had looked like one that could win a few more when scoring for the first time at Roscommon in August and, on her third start since then, she shot clear of the field from two furlongs out.
Keane was pulling her up in the last fifty yards as she won by four and a half lengths form Ally Cay (5/1). Bolero (20/1) and Lucky Phil (16/1) completed the placings in a well strung out field with the 7/2 favourite Grace To Grace back in fifth.
The winner is a half-sister to useful dual-purpose types Enter The Indian and The Last Indian.
At close of play, Keane was back four ahead of Shane Foley (treble on the card) in the jockeys’ title race.
Winning trainer Aidan Howard was completing a double after Tyrion’s Dream win earlier in the afternoon at 33/1 and he reflected: "It's been a very good day. To have a couple of winners and a second is great. The horses are in very good order.
“I fancied her coming here today and the bit of rain helped. Colin gave her a great ride.
“The lads in the yard are doing a fantastic job and have the horses in great order. They are keeping them good, and healthy and fresh.”
