Vallado does it best at Leopardstown
She did it well and we like her. She was second first time which was a big achievement for one of ours. She was 12/1 and nobody seemed to fancy her but I thought she would run well. She probably hasn't enough experience, but she's qualified for the sales race next weekend (Tattersalls Ireland Super Auction Sales Stakes at the Curragh on August 24). It's worth a lot of money so we'll go for it. Shane said she was very green, but picked up when asked.
Devoted another Leopardstown win for Farrell
Polished Rock scrubs up well for Elliott
He was a bit unlucky here last week. He got boxed in at the wrong time.
Eagle soars home on debut
He did what I expected him to do and he's just a lovely colt. He's impressing us all the time and is a laidback colt. We'll see how he comes out of it but he's so relaxed I'd expect that he'll come out of it well. He'll have one more run. I've no definite plans, maybe the Beresford and he's also in the Racing Post Trophy, we'll see. If the ground is soft in the Beresford then he'll go to the Racing Post Trophy if it is nice ground. He's a stayer with speed and is a horse with an awful lot to look forward to next year. He's great looking, quickens in two strides and stays well. He has a lovely attitude, temperament and confirmation. Everything a good horse needs. He's going to be a top-class horse.
Gordon Lord Byron leaves it late
I'm delighted he won. He ground it out. His best form has been on fast ground. Maybe that's not as good as the form he showed in France, but I'm happy with him. He's best on fast ground. The ground has gone a bit there. It's a nice race to win. The Desmond is one of the old traditional races. Johnny gave him a good ride. It's nice to get his head in front again. He has lots of options. He will stay a mile, he's proved that there. He might go back for the Hong Kong Mile and the Breeders Cup is an option. He's in the Haydock Sprint and he could go for the Park Stakes. He'll be entered in the [Prix de la] Foret.

Cool Power delights Lynam in last
That's a big one to get as she's Slade Power's sister. Anything she does after this is a bonus. She's a little bit eccentric. The lad Will Hayes has done a good job with her and he was down at the stalls. Rory has also done a first-class job. She has a job for life now [as a broodmare]. We'll stick her in a handicap and see what they give her and we'll see how she gets on.
