Justifier is a first winner for Free Eagle
He has a great temperament. Colin said early-doors he was working well at home and he had him in the same category as (stablemate) Siskin, which would be a long way from my thoughts. He said the ground rode lovely and he wouldn't want 'firm' in the description. He is a lovely horse, will get further and I think there should be huge improvement going forward as I have been tender with my two-year-old's this year. We would normally have tried a load of them but are taking them along quietly this year and he is my fourth two-year-old runner. Hopefully they are all queueing up now and ready to run and hopefully that's a sign of things to come. I'm disappointed Sean (Jones) isn't here as he got held up in a meeting but it is lovely to run one in his colours and hopefully we can start getting his blue and white colours in the winners' enclosure again soon.
Morpho Blue makes the breakthrough
She picked up well, they went quick and it suited her. Seven furlongs is about her trip but she'll get a mile. She is a good mover and any old ground suits her. Hopefully we'll get her up to Stakes company and that is the plan for her.

Flight Risk regains Ballycorus crown
He has had an easy couple of years, so he has to go to work now and could run in the Minstrel Stakes (Curragh, July 20) next. He retains his enthusiasm, plus an extra bit and has really come right this year. He has had soundness issues and for the first five years of his career he was always on soft (ground), now he doesn’t seem to mind.
Galeola provides Lavery with much needed boost
I'm delighted for John (winning owner) as we've had winners together but none so far apart from Danz Gift in his colours. We have always liked her but it has been a long road and it is only now she is starting to get race hardened fit and I thought she would like the track here. I'll look and see if there is more of the same for her next and there are lots of those distance races in Ireland which is great. She won't ever jump hurdles for me. I know I had Laid Back Luke and when he comes back I'll train him (for jumping) but this week has been so heart-breaking I couldn't take on training a national hunt horse because it'll just break your heart with injuries.
Straightforward success for Illusion in Leopardstown finale
King's Theatre mares, they're not making them any more unfortunately!. I think the ground was plenty quick for her and I was doing my best not to get her off the bridle for as long as I could. She travelled very well but didn't let down on the ground and I wouldn't be afraid to come back in trip. More give in the ground would also see her in a better light. She has Listed-placed black-type in bumpers and it would be great to get it on the flat too. I'm sure she'd also jump a hurdle in time too as she has schooled. Softer ground is what she needs.
