Queen rules as gambled stablemate flops
She's a nice filly and is straight-forward. Both of them are in the Moyglare and they are two nice fillies. Wayne said his was raw while Billy said she was professional. Her mother (Chintz) was quite nice and won the CL Weld for me a few years ago.
Friendless Tombelaine another for Weld
I'm very pleased with him. He's obviously talented. We'll be in no hurry with him and I'll speak to Lord Grimthorpe about him and see where we go. I'd say a race like the Tyros here next month would be a logical step. He worked very nicely the other morning and I said he'd run here and thought he'd run respectably.
Corby the King on Ring
He might go to Galway. There are very few mile races around for him. I have to thank Joseph O'Brien who said he needed to drop back to a mile as he was a bit free. I think he might not have been the strongest finisher the last few years but maybe he might have improved a bit.
Pearl books Ascot ticket with Glencairn win
I thought she had improved and was good but I ran her on soft ground and she didn't like it. In fairness they were probably better quality races also. She did that well and she'll go now to the posh place (Royal Ascot) next Wednesday for the Duke Of Cambridge.
Queen over turns Joyeuse in the Ballyogan
I'm delighted. Pat gave her a beautiful ride with the way the race panned out and the horse going off in front suited. We've always thought a lot of her and thankfully tonight she produced what we've thought. That kind of throws the fillies handicap out on Derby Day! She could go now for the Brownstown Stakes on July 2nd. She was entered a few places but we thought this was the best option and thankfully the ground came right for her during the week. Her run in Ascot was very good on ground she didn't like. She's a beautiful filly and bred in the purple so it's job done tonight getting the black-type.
Scooping does it again at Leopardstown
She's a gutsy little thing. She likes a little cut and we wouldn't have run if it was firm. She obviously likes Leopardstown too as that's two runs and two wins.
Brook completes 188/1 double for Wachman
Wayne gave him a good ride. He is a tough genuine horse and I think there might be a race at Galway for him.
