Eaglefield off the mark in Foxrock
I’m delighted for Mr Yue who is a great supporter of ours. He’s from Hong Kong and has been with us a few years. I’m told we’ll see how the handicapper treats him and go from there. Kevin (Manning) said they went a right gallop the whole way and he battled well. You’d be happy with him.

Annerville one to note for Murtagh and Coen
That’s what we were hoping for. She had a very good run the first day and her work has been nice since. She doesn’t light you up at home but, the last day showed, she keeps her best for the track. She’s a lovely, big filly and the first horse I’ve had for Newtown Anner. Ben said she’s still learning on the job so she could be one that might get better during the year. The owner likes these fillies to get some black type, and I’ve made some nice big entries for her but she might not be ready for them yet. She’s such a big, rangy filly that she might need a bit more time. She stays a mile and a quarter and may even stay a mile and a half.
Tauran Shaman regains the winning thread
He was unlucky last time at the Curragh and was also unlucky at Galway last year. He’s usually run over a mile but went up to a mile and a quarter today. I suppose the plan will be to go back for one of the big handicaps in Galway with him. He does like a bit of safe ground and is not great on good to firm ground. He saw out that trip well as he was drawn out wide.
Sir William Bruce oversees O'Brien/Moore treble
He’d a better run than it looked in Naas as he had a very bad draw and hit a number of ridges down the back. He’s a grand horse and anything from a mile and a quarter to a mile and a half would suit him.
