The future looks bright for Cairde Go Deo
Obviously she had experience over a lot of her rivals but Ger doesn't want to over-race her this year. It's all about next year and she has been telling us that she is crying out for a run. She got away with that ground. She obviously wants further but definitely wants next year. We won't be rushing her back and that's why she has no early closing race entries. If she tells us we will supplement her for the autumn. She will run again but it's all about next year and we'll let her grow into herself. From the word go she's telling us she's sharper, being what she's by, than what she's meant to be.
My Holy Fox brings up 27/1 double for Harrington & Foley
At Gowran she was very raw and green but she ran on well in the end. I wasn’t sure if we were going the right distance today as I thought she needed a mile and it looked like that halfway through the race. Suddenly she quickened up and she won. She’s a beautifully bred filly and has won a Curragh maiden now. Some black type would be nice and she probably needs to get her toe in. Things fell right for her today.

New recruit Jon Riggens leads home Lynam 1-2
It’s good to get him started and I hadn’t done a lot with him. It’s a poisoned chalice as the man who had him before done a great job with him. You are always worried that they will go backwards. Shane said he’s the same horse and he did it well. We’ll have a look at handicaps now. The other horse ran well and looks like he might win his maiden too.

Rock rolls back the years in Curragh finale
I know he was last in Limerick but he was only beaten four and a half lengths. He also ran well behind Verhoyen on his previous run. His form figures don't look good but he's not being beaten far. He loves this place, was dropping down in grade and the handicapper has given him a chance. He was rated 103 and we retired him last year after he had a year off. We brought him back in and used him as a lead for the yearlings over the winter and his joints were really good and he stayed sound. He loves it. It's great for Joe (Keeling, owner). He's been very good to me and it's nice to reward him. I'd love to have another crack at the Bold Lad on Champions Weekend if he got into it. He's probably not high enough but he could run again here on the 27th. If he won again he could get in.
