She is a real genuine mare and and while we thought she would have been running in January, we have been waiting for the ground all year. Hopefully we’ll get more ground like that before the season finishes. She needs a trip, soft ground and a fence. She’ll go chasing next season.

Jody was very positive on him and it paid off with his jumping. He’ll get confidence from that and I think he’ll improve. That ground is very tacky and I think he’ll be better on nicer ground. We’ll go slowly up in grade. After those couple of falls he needs to get his confidence back.

He made a bad mistake at the last the first time around. He stood off at the shadow and I thought that was him finished. He recovered nicely and Danny got a breather into him and got him jumping better. He got his confidence back on the final circuit and hopefully he can progress. He’s one for staying chases and maybe could be an Irish National horse down the line.

she deserved it. We were tempted to come here as there weren’t too many options left for her over the next few weeks. She was fresh and well after her last run but I was worried as she’s after three or four quick runs. She got a bit close to the second last but Phillip was always confident that she was going to get there.
