Princess Rajj scores for Harrington & Glynn
she seems to be on an upward curve, she was in charge and I think she loved not being bullied. We'll find another little race and she is there for the apprentices in the yard to play away with. She initially received 13lb for winning at Sligo, which I thought was fairly hard on her, but all horses got dropped a pound, so it was 12. Alan had a winner on Sweet Dime for us a few years ago, he works hard for us and it is brilliant for him. I have to say thanks to Willie McCreery (trainer) as we couldn't get the tongue-tie on her and her mother (Princesss Aloof) was coming out in her! Willie's height helped us get it on.

Electric Elmos scores for German owners
we really fancied him and it is a pity as the owner is German and came over to Killarney but didn't get to come over today. He bred the family for a couple of generations and will enjoy today. He is a new owner to us this year and we have a half-sister two year old who we are looking forward to. He ran into one at Killarney the last day when he was green and needed a lead but went forward from a bad draw to get across and everyone stacked up behind. He is an improving horse and a galloping track would suit him but it was a nice race for him today.
Miss Cunning wins second race for Aengus King
we thought she'd win in Cork but was beaten on the line and stumbled the last day leaving the stalls in Gowran. She stayed on and on and on today, we couldn't believe it actually because coming down the back, she was so far off the pace. Once she gets going she is so genuine and we think she could go a little further. That's her first win on the grass.
Fitzgibbon excels on Spark
we have him two and a half months and James Sheehan pre-trained him and he came in in tremendous order. He is a big horse, with a good pedigree and maybe he needed time. We were delighted when the race broke up this morning as there was prizemoney for the first six. This is a bonus as we were here to compete for experience for Abbie. Abbie is a great girl and is with us full-time and David Christie is also giving her rides in point to points. The horse will go for a beginners chase next.
