Erich makes the breakthrough in Naas opener
I blame myself as I ran him in Navan thinking he was a good thing and thought it was just a question of turning up. In his defence you could see all the way up the straight he was changing his legs on the fast ground and he just couldn't handle it. The little bit of juice in the ground helped him today but he was still looking around in front which leads us to believe there is a bit more in the tank. It's nothing more than the horse deserves after his campaign during the summer.

Warnaq again shows her liking for Naas
She’s hardy and just gallops away. The slower the ground the better for her. She’ll go on good ground but the others just aren’t able to go with her on slower ground. She’s probably better on the Flat than over jumps for some reason but with the Flat season over now she’ll go back over hurdles at some stage.
Mr Everest rounds off 'good weekend' for Martin & Breslin
He's a lovely horse and is improving all the time. He won in Listowel and ran well in Navan where he came from a fair bit back. He was a little unlucky then but all went well today. He's versatile and can go back over hurdles. He wouldn't want real heavy winter ground but I'd say we'll find a race for him at Leopardstown over Christmas as his owner (John Breslin) will be over then. He's still a maiden over hurdles. He's a big lean, weak horse, and is after taking a while to come to hand so we won’t be over hard on him. He’s after paying for his oats for a while!
Champion Crosse rounds off season in style
We were a bit unlucky with the (Merry Men) syndicate as we had another filly that didn't work out. This fella had a few muscle problems through the year. The trip was too short for him at Galway but he ran well and came out of it perfect so we ran him back here and said we'd be positive.
Mustajeer completes first & last race double for connections
I thought he was a Group horse in a Listed race and he's been promising to do that all year. We've just had to be patient with him ground wise, and he ran a blinder in the Ebor. He's not as straight forward as he looks out there. He caught me unaware one day at the Curragh this year when I was saddling him up and he frightened the life out of me. After that we put the hood and ear plugs on.
