Coogan takes opener
She won here the last day and she obviously likes the track. Ideally we'll look for some Black Type for her maybe in a Listed Race she might not be good enough but we'll see.
Benbaun wins again at the Curragh
This horse has been looked after really well all of his life and it's great to win with him. He's getting older but he appears to have the right attitude. He doesn't like soft ground but the edge seems to be taken off today. There is another race here later in the year for him and I would love to run him in the Nunthorpe Stakes and he really likes France so we might also go for the Prix de L'abbaye.
Mountain Coral makes it his fourth win in a row
He's a smashing horse. He had terrible problems as a young horse we weren't sure if we had a string halt or a wobbler. Aine Corcoran from Naas is a japanese shiatsu therapist and she treats him everytime he runs and she's done a great job with him.
Alfred Nobel scores for O'Brien/Murtagh
He's a progressive horse and he comes on from every run. He has plenty of speed and hopefully he'll get a mile. We will probably come back here for the Phoenix Stakes in a couple of weeks time.
Weld a Famous Name
That was an exceptional performance. When he's good he's very good and he loves an ease in the ground. He doesn't like extremes in the ground. He has been placed 9 times in Group Races and he was a very unlukcy loser in the French Derby last year from a bad draw and was only beaten by a head.
O'Brien achieves Fame And Glory
He has been a great horse all along and he got a great ride. He's a typical Classic horse, he has natural tactical pace and he very quickly got into his stride and he travelled great. The sky is the limit for him now.
Via Galilei wins for Bolger/Manning
Via Galilei came back to form there and will now step back up to Listed company. He is closely related to Teofilo and seems to have grown up a fair bit mentally.
Hanlon/McDonogh win last at the Curragh
We will probably go for the GPT Handicap at Galway next, he likes Galway and he knows it very well.
