Lalors' mare wins first start over hurdles
To be honest we weren’t really sure coming here if she was fully ready or not,.
Elliott dominates with first three home in beginners' chase
Troytown sounds good for Discordantly after wide margin win
Barney on a real roll for the Gilligans
Jack gave him a super ride and the horse just took him there,. He jumped big and silly early on but Jack seems to click with him. It would have been silly not to run with the race being so close to home and we have to make use of his mark. A lot of thanks have to go to Gerry Lynch (former trainer, now retired) for sending him my way. The owners (the Kellys) are from the north and the only pity is that they can’t be on track to see him winning.
Bigger targets ahead for Beacon Edge after easy win
From the first day he arrived in the yard we’ve just loved him.
Gigginstown Meade and Flanagan in Command with Galway double
He’s taken a long time but he’s getting there,. He’s huge and he jumped a couple like fences but it was very hard for him to get into a rhythm jumping those type hurdles. Sean was very impressed considering the way he jumped.
Jiving Jerry has all the right moves for Blackmore
He’s learning still — he was the youngest horse in the race and he’s by the right sire (Jeremy, second winner on the card).
Grangee wins readily for the Mullins' in Galway bumper
She’s very petite and we were worried about the ground and the track.
