One Fine Morning in Galway
He enjoyed himself in front but he might prefer a bit of company. He jumped great but got a bit lonely towards the finish. Happy days anyway and he'll jump a fence in time and he should make a nice chaser.
L'Ami too good for younger rivals
The rain came at just the right time for him.
Cooper is King half-an-hour on
He is a nice horse that travels and idles when he hits the front. He had loads in the tank and jumped for fun. He doesn't take a lot of racing so he'll go for the Royal Bond now and then get a break. He stays well too.
Tough as Rock County makes it 3 from 3
I'm delighted with him because he is still a big baby. He is a great character, a beautiful mover and jumper and he'll make a great chaser. We were worried about his fitness but he had plenty of hill work done which served him well up the hill here. It has worked out well anyway and he's so laid-back that it is hard to know how forward he is. He'll be better back up in trip and as I've said it is hard to know how good he is as he is so laid-back. In fact there are always fights at home about who gets to ride him!
J P Head Of The Posse with 3 winners
It was made very easy with the other horse falling (Realt Dubh). It was a pity that he didn't stay up though we're obviously pleased to get the win. He (David Casey) was generally happy with his jumping and we have no plans.
Tough Del Conde lands handicap chase
His owner Carole Adams owns the Courtmacsherry Hotel in West Cork and they are delighted as it took this fellow ages to even win a point-to-point which he did in Dungourney. He is improving away there the whole time. He'll probably step-up in trip now to two and a half miles and he'll have three or four weeks off now after facing that hill. He battled well there and was tough.
Dylan Ross is a smart prospect
We always liked this lad but we had to rush him a bit to get him ready for the Land Rover Bumper. He ran well there but it probably came a bit too soon for him. He jumps well and he has the other little gear that the good ones have. He is not over-big, about sixteen one and he should go on any ground. The lads that own him (No Rush Man Syndicate) had Dreadnot with me before but he broke a leg in Kilbeggan.
